Gaining Action from Rain-Light

This post is for my 05/12/23 Group Distance Reiki Session. If you are reading this at any time please know the energy and message, as it resonates, is perfect for you.

As you’re reading this please pause and take a moment to decide on an intention; an area of focus for today’s session - if you haven’t already.

This may come easily, may be something you’re already working on, or an instant inspiration at the question. If not, here are some that came to mind as I was connecting. Perhaps they will resonate, or provide a jumping block for tuning into the intention you want to settle on:

Balance

Trust

Inspiration

Grounding

Clarity

Settled in, with intentions in mind, and holding with Reiki energy for while, I drew a card for session guidance and additional direction. From Sandra Anne Taylor’s “Energy Oracle Cards” deck we received #17 ACTION, upright (image and full description below). An interesting note of “drive” / “toward” once we’ve called out our intentions. Perhaps some encouragement increasing direction and additional intention in daily practices. Also last week’s Strategy card was a precursor to Action, and brought that to light.

(There was a moment of concern around a peanut allergy that came through as I was shuffling. And attention toward Yin/Yang balancing.)

With the Action card in mind, I felt a call for detoxification at the chest and heart-space.

Holding the chest and watching all surrounding, the Reiki felt subtle and gentle… working in small modifications. The “Action” felt to be self-led, while Reiki was holding in “just being”, in rest, and re-tuning. It seemed to help processing so that Action, when taken, could be heart-led and more intentional.

I moved into a Body Scan and was first aware of the 8th Chakra, above the Crown, which presented exceptionally radiant. A personal Sun.

Next awareness was drawn to the left knee, radiating a bit down into the shin and up into the IT band. There was also a point of density and tightness in the center of the pelvis – physical, but deep within, like the dan tien or Sacral center. From there I felt the bottom edges of the rib cage, which with more focus brought trobbing at the Heart. I moved back to the idea of detoxification at the chest… and back to Action… which this time brought a reminder of the associated #17, and what that may mean as well.

Another sweep of a Body Scan, this time widening to the Aura, and there were a couple outer spots of pressure which seemed to be stunting Action. With these a strong pain at the back of the left top hip bone came in. The Aura pressures seemed familial, possibly ancestral even. Inviting Reiki to these spaces and ideas I saw it come down like white-light rain, hitting and pooling at these invisible distortions. The pooled light glowed with bright intensity and felt to burn like a wet transformational light-fire. Then suddenly it released downward, now clear water; impotent yet complete.

The hip pain was gone, and the subtle, gentle awareness of Reiki remained with the Aura. Invite it in, recalling your intention, and asking for continuing support in the days ahead. In closing a cool, clearing energy ran down the back.

The Insight Timer track I chose for this group was new to me, but caught my browsing eyes, and felt worth sharing today: 528Hz | 432Hz Vibrational Cleanse by Sound Alchemy | Nina Marie. Also the app-opening quote stood out more than normal, specific to our session: “Your past is just a story. And once you realize this, it has no power over you.”

Today's Card

#17 ACTION

Energizing Effort, Willingness to Work

Upright

This card tells you that now is the time for more aggressive forward movement. The galloping horses represent intentional and concerted action directed to your goals.

This card upright indicates that you are on the right track, but your determined efforts must increase. The white horse is inner action of spirit and thought; the black is the outer work that still needs to be done. So continue taking action and trust your intuition. In time, you'll break through and see the results you’ve been working so hard to create.

AFFIRMATION: I am responsible for my own life. I take action toward my goals and my own happiness every day.
